Product overview
What this part is and how it is supplied.
Grille for BMW 3 Series G20 / G21, part HMG28-201-01. This diamond pattern grille mesh replaces the kidney grille on the BMW 3 Series G20 and G21, and it carries an LED module behind the diamond lattice so the grille lights up when the lights are on. The face is gloss black with silvery accents on the diamond frames, which is the finish buyers fit when they want the front end to read as an illuminated diamond grille rather than the standard vertical slats.
The grille is produced in ABS and fits the pre-facelift G20 and G21, with the LED wired to the headlight supply or a remote so the illumination works without cutting the original harness. Because BMW revised the grille for the facelifted 3 Series, confirm whether your car is the pre-facelift or the facelift model before ordering. Supplied under the Vidishi Auto brand as an aftermarket replacement; it is not a genuine BMW part.
